How much tread was left on the rears? And rubbing the whole time they were on?

5/32 left on the rears And they were on my car for about 200 miles. Then I switched to 265s., no problem with those.

Yes thank you for being observant. It's all cosmetic, a little scrapage on the sidewall, nowhere near deep enough to cause a problem
