I just missed the cut aswell, with CCC.

Some of these suggestions have been great, I probably can't even get some of them done now.

Is it possible to code the FOB's range? For example, my FOB only works within X amount of feet of the car. Is there any way to improve that so that my FOB will work further away? I'm asking because I have the windows down/roof open via FOB standard, however, by the time I am within range to unlock the doors, then push and hold the unlock button for everything to start opening, I'm basically already at my car. Then I have to stand there and wait for the windows and roof to complete the open cycle (while holding the button down on the FOB) and look like an idiot just standing there outside of my car. So if I were able to start this process, say, 100 feet away, then the cycle would be able to complete before I made it to my car. (Isn't that the point of the feature?)

Also, is it possible to code for windows up/roof closed on LOCK? I don't mean via FOB (as in, lock car, then continue to hold the lock button until the windows roll up and the roof closes, and stand within that 10 foot range of your vehicle while the windows take their time) I mean, is it possible to close the roof/windows at the same time the car is locking? (Basically push the button ONCE to lock the car AND roll windows up/roof close at the same time) To eliminate me having to hold the button for the 10 seconds it takes to close.

for the convenience, you can ask the same about why coding windows to close up since you can do that from inside

my question to all of you guys is that if your car still has the warranty, will re coding void the warranty that is left of the car or dealer does not care about small things like that? I still have my warranty till aug 2015 but I would love to have some coding done.

I would not mess with the voltage input for AEs because you risk straining the electrical components. (think of the voltage in the AE like hp in the car, the more hp in the same car, the shorter time it will last)
Definitely applies to lightbulbs. power is proportional to voltage squared

...as an aside that is why it is always essential to install a dimmer for incandescent pot lights in a home. Lowering the dimmer by 10% (lowering voltage), will increase lamp life about 25%.

Usually I forget to hit the button on the door so all I need to do is hold the lock button for an additional second and they're in! Also they automatically fold out when you unlock the car and if you hit the door button they don't fold out until 25mph I believe. Could be wrong though

LOL!

Still doesn't work -- partially because the url brackets are not in the right place but also because of the spaces you put in the page name "l i t t l e b i m m e r.com/services," but I see why you put them in now. When you cut and paste the actual web address, "L i t t l e b i m m e r" comes up "************" so the forum software must think that the word "L i t t l e b i m m e r" is an offensive word of some kind.

There's actually some different and useful coding info on this page and I think it would be a little easier to get there by cutting and pasting little bimmer.com/services in a separate window and the just remove the single space between "little" and "bimmer" to before you hit "enter" to go to the page.

Anyone have any idea what BAD word the forum software thinks that "L i t t l e b i m m e r" is?

I actually remembered why after I saw it become ************. Little bimmer was a username of a friend of mine that was on here that got banned. It's actually a funny story

If anyone is interested, he can do remote coding for you through teamviewer and talk you through things on skype. Only thing you'd need to buy is a cable for your car.

Guess that explains it. Can you tell the story w/o getting banned yourself?

There is a brighter mode when brakes are pressed harder. The code makes this braking mode the default.

I'm really interested in this option. Do you know how it was enabled? Do you have your modified NETTODAT.TRC file from the FRM or NFRM module?

Are you sure this is not Brake Force Display with the rear fog lights illuminated under hard braking?

Some of my favorites are my TCU flash and being able to drop the top while moving

The brighter brake lights are nice too, and being able to auto roll down the windows while the doors are open, and turning the nav disclaimer off too.

I also have recall wipers after shutting the car off, the digital speedo, and a few others I may have forgotten.

There are so many things the euro Bimmers have enabled that us US guys do not.

I had a buddy of mine at the dealer do the LEGO mod for the rear fogs (yeah yeah not a code but more of a physical thing), but my euro hazards seem to be pissing people off so I'm trying to have that reverted back
Is that the "double flash" from the e90 code list ?
