YOU just need a better clamp!
im using a fuel injection line from autozone, not the submersible one from gates.
it works JUST fine, it only popped off once, i used a different one and its holding pretty good since last week or so.

i just ordered the gates line to redo it the right way even though im not having any problems with it.

also, i heated the hose up before i inserted it in the ventury. it was really easy to do it that way, otherwise if u dont heat it up you will damage the inside of the hose, then it wont hold as it should .

I am using the gates hose and it sucks it just tore on me and before that it slipped off 3times i had to get towed . I did some digging and found some e85 hose for $15 fully submersible way better than the gates just by looking at it. I can get the same deal for anyone, if anyone would like to try it. I will be pulling the bucket tomorrow and installing this new line I will let everyone know how it turn out. I have pics on my cell if anyone would like to see it just text me 505 908 4916

I found it on line cheaper than what i bought for here locally. I'll post up part number FC332-04 it feels way stronger than the over priced gates hose.

07tundra, how is the line holding up so far? currently I am running without the valve, I bought the same fuel line that comes with the walbro pump, they seem to be much stronger than the gates line, but I haven't got chance to put them on yet. they are cheaper too, however they only come with 6" in length

You are correct the line that comes with pump was in great shape! This new blue line has been in for a couple of days and no problem. I believe I put the part# in this thread. It's super cheap and I read some where that Nascar or someone uses it to plum their entire cars. Anyway so far so good! no problems!
