Does it matter how OP was flagged?
He was flagged - game over - right?

Fixed. Sorry, I meant to say, "are fuel pump failures more common on juiced cars?"

Although, given their reliability, the HPFP could possibly fail even if my grandmother drove the car...

your in luck buddy. I work at a BMW dealership and I believe BMW extended the warranty on the High pressure pumps to 100,000 miles. Give me a few minutes and ill double check.

yup, 07 and 08 model year, 10 year/120,000 mile warranty. You all should be getting letters soon. This is the info I have as of now. Don't go and quote me at the dealership. Just give your local dealer a call and ask about it. btw. where in socal r u?

I just scanned my car yesterday and got a fuel pump plausablity code. I wonder if that because my fuel pump is going to shut down on me or because its the tuner code. Anyone know what the "tuner code" is?

Clear code bring car to ALL STOCK form. Even intakes and bring it back and play dumb.
I got my warranty back after it was flagged as aftermarket parts. Fuel pumps have 100k warranty now. BTW were u flagged by throwing the tuner code? Or were you flagged because u brought your car in to dealer with a tune? If you just threw a code, im sure you can get your warranty back since its gonna be pretty much impossible to blame whatever to void your warranty. But if you had a tune in the car and brought to dealer you might have some more problems. |

2d16 Air flow manipulation. Mass airflow. Possible aftermarket piggyback bla bla on seperate sheet that describes the tuner codes. I have seen similar description with different numbers at end. But most start with 2dxx |
