Yeah, it's scary when I popped the hood to adjust my bumper and check the seams when I closed it again and again and again. Had to bring it down by pushing down with both hands on the middle and then push down on both sides to make sure the catches locked.

Sadly mine doesn't have mounts too.

I kind of want to drill it and put some on but I don't want to ruin the structural integrity of the hood.

I asked a body shop about drilling before and they said they wouldnt recommend it. Only other option for hood shocks are some L-brackets i saw that someone made before.

Yup thats the one. Ill probably end up getting those later on but i just use a stick for now
