2009 E92 coupe rear seat bolster removal w/fold down seats

I need to remove my drivers side seat bolster. I have lowered the seat back to get to it, and is supposed to pull out and up, but I can't get a good hand hold to pull out? Does the top plastic seat belt cover come off if so how. I am sure someone has some tricks to remove?

Remove the bottom seat cushion first. Then grab the side bolster from the bottom and push it into the seat belt cover as hard as you can, then pull towards you.

Saw your PM but thought it might help other ppl as well posting in the thread...

See the seat attaches to the two loops?

I had the hardest time trying to remove the bottom cushion, because I was pulling up from the center of the seat in between the two clips. I did not realize the clips were positioned like that till I finally got it off...

The trick to easily removing the seat bottom is to pull one side of the seat bottom up at a time instead of the whole seat from the center portion. Pull from above the loop on one side till it unclips, then do the other side. It is much easier than pulling from the center...
