Pinging SF Bay Area E90 owners

Hi,

I was wondering whether any of you have pulled your stock front door speakers and still have them. If you do, would you mind my taking a few photographs and making some basic dimensional measurements?

i havent pulled them out..but plan on doing so in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks for the response. When you do pull them, would you please let me know? Also, if you can measure the depth of the chamber in the door for the mid, that would give me some idea of what my options are.

Doesn't anyone have this already? I just blew my front speaker and am looking to see what I can replace it with but have no idea on size or dimensions...

i ordered a 3 sets of infinity kappas but they only shipped me 2, hopefully get the 3rd set this week and do the install this weekend. i'll keep you posted.

No, I don't play squash, in Sunnyvale or anywhere else. I'm partial to badminton, though.

I sure hope I don't need to take apart my car for a simple speaker upgrade ! :-)

just to update. i did get all my speakers in. im just waiting for my amp to come in. sorry for the delay. im gettin a little restless too
