Need VIN Decoding
According to dealer, my car does not have CA - yet if I press/hold the unlock button on remote - all windows & sunroof will auto open?
Mebbe this is a standard feature, and has nothing to do with CA, but I would still like to have an accurate description of car build via VIN# I tried the VIN Decoder on ECS Tuning site - but it keeps stating 'Invalid VIN#' which is just crazy, since I know it's correct as I have VIN# to order parts. Anyone have another site to try for VIN Decoding (other than going the local dealer)? Any help would be greatly appreciated! -Jay-

Don't know how to decode your VIN, but I also do not have CA and I can open windows/sunroof by holding down the unlock button on the remote. I think that feature is there regardless of the CA option.

The feature you're speaking of is standard across all models for years. As far as a VIN decoder you're going to have to go through various pay sites if you want more detail other than your model, model year, color, plant manufacturered.
