I'm actually in Amsterdam, waiting in the hotel lobby as I'm going back to the UK now.
Your descriptive journey was a good read and has helped kill some time, so cheers for that. |

Good read. Makes me think of my memories, as I have hit most of those places. I got plans to see the ones I haven't hit yet. BTW, this is what is sitting down there now, my family toured the plant on T-giving day.

Awesome writeup, David. Looked like a pretty bromantic roadtrip It's almost been a year since you've gotten your car. How's everything with your ED?

As for their durability; they are above average i would say. I kinda drive like a maniac sometimes and nyc roads are horrible to say the least that being said they still hold up pretty well. I do have a few bends but not large enough to cause a leak or drop in tire pressure. A little vibration here and there when going above 130mph 140mph but nothing too serious. For your sake i hope they put on the p-zero tires on them. Those tires are GODLY!!! best tires ive ever had hands down. Even after all the hard driving in the alps, the fast driving on the autobahn, and racing on the ring they didnt wear away much. I would say you can probably get aleast 20k out of the rears even with an occasional burn out lol. hope that settled your nerves a bit. congrats on the car |

WOW what an awesome adventure. Thanks for sharing. Hope I can do ED someday too.
David, do you go to any NYC car meets? I'm in southern CT and would like too see your 335is. I see you put PFC on your info. Are you prior service? I did 4 yrs active, 2 yrs national guard for the army (thanks for the free ride through college uncle sam haha). Last edited by soldado331; 02-21-2013 at 04:27 PM.. |
