oem doesnt recommend patching runflats but it can be done.

Simply Tire did a great job patching mine.

It is just like any other tire, if the damage is just to the tread you can patch it. As long as you haven't driven more than the recommended 250km with 0psi.

Made some calls and basically the patching procedure is the same as a regular tire except the dismounting/mounting is time consuming because of the hard sidewall. The only catch is that the tire becomes damaged if you have had a complete loss of pressure and have been driving around using the sidewall/RFT technology as a crutch. In such cases, new tire is the recommended way to go. Have a couple of shop referrals and plan to get it fixed Friday.

Patched no problems. Cost $30 and around 45 minutes to fix. Went to TireMag on Keele (just north of Hwy 7). Another place that was highly recommended is Kipling Tire around Hwy 27 and Dundas.
