Picked up 2011 328i xdrive

New to me 2011 328i x drive . Just did valve cover and oil filter housing Gasket . Looking forward to doing some DIYs and enjoying driving .Only complaint so far is the loud ass tires

Congrats dude. If you have run flats ditch those and get some proper tires, makes a big difference.

It’s at 106000 the previous owner owed 6k on it so I just offered to pay it off and they let it go

Yea I figured it would be great to toy around with. Changed out plugs and new belt tensioner today already surprised to find denso iridium plugs in there went back to Bosch platinum FCP Euro has been awesome for parts

Is there a reason you got Xi? do you get lots of snow?

Are you going to do any maintenance on Xdrive related parts? as far as I know, all you can do is changing fluids and hope for the best?

I’m in Houston TX so definitely no snow.. this car just kinda fell into my lap as a private sale. I’ve done front and rear fluid changes already , there’s no play in the drive shaft so it’s solid .. really nothing else to look for there other than guibo

IF I was in Texas, I would never ever look at a AWD car. Never. Hell, I am considering getting an M3 sedan and use winter tires in New England, that's how much I hate AWD.
But have to add, car looks great! Congrats!

u will love it

what tires are on it now? u will get a lot more quiet and better performance than what is on there for rubber now

ditched Bridgestone RFTs for regular Continental and it made a huge difference
