the steering wheel emblem should have just been a sticker that sticks on top of the OEM one...

edit: okay not a "sticker" per se, but should have had 3m tape or equal and just peel and stick on top of old.

Steering wheel emblem is not supposed to be removed/replaced. The new roundel you purchased should just be a sticker that sits on top.

Your option for replacement would be to get a new steering wheel cover.

The Mtech one is about 80 bucks so the OEM one might be around the same price. Try pming tischer.

I have lots of scratches on the actual wheel part of my steering wheel (this pair of jeans I own has nasty rivets and cuts it when I get out of the car). If you'd like I can take pictures and see if you want to trade.

I only ask because my emblem is mint.

FOR ALL YOU MORONS WHO THINK THAT YOU CAN PUT THE ROUNDEL ON TOP OF THE OEM ONE, I DONT THINK YOU REALIZE THAT THE STICKER ITSELF HAS A CERTAIN THIKNESS TO IT, WHICH WILL BE SHOWN AS A UGLY 3D EMBLEM WITH A GAP ALL AROUND, PERFECT PLACE FOR DUST TO SETTLE AND LOOK LIKE CRAP.

No need for name calling in your first post. Caps is not acceptable either. They are considered shouting.

Are you the guy that F'ed up his steering wheel? You sure are passionate about the subject. Maybe you got the wrong size roundel for the steering wheel? You are not supposed to tamper with that roundel.

Yep, you're going to need a new airbag most likely. PM me w/ your VIN # and I'll get you the best price I can offer. We don't deal w/ the aftermarket too much, but I don't believe that the airbag emblem should be removed.
