I have already added cruise control VO and coded the CAS, FRM and kombi with that.

Now as people say, we should reset steering sensor so;

In Tool32, I have choosen DCS_87.prg ---> lenkwinkel_dsc_abgleichen and it worked however DCS light and error is still there.

I read the code with inpa and following is the code under DSC. (1 code remaining)

I have also tyre pressue monitoring alert on OBC, which does not go away even after resetting.

Can somebody help how to get rid or it.

Shall I update DSC module?
Any other suggestion?

Thanks.

I'm having the exact same problem / errors - did you get it sorted out?

I've been googling - the two answers I have found are -

the steering angle sensor needs calibrating

and

the switch has the wrong vin programmed

The problem is obviously different serial number of the SZL, than the one DSC expecting to see.

makkan00 if you are willing to help me I'll be very grateful
You need to reset the SZL with Tool32 I had that error too after the reset it worked TO RESET it you need to select E87 not E89 and it will do the trick, make sure the tires and the wheel are straight otherwise it will throw an error after driving off.

Unlike the 7 series switch on E90 the VIN rewrites itself with calibration.

Hey guys, appreciate a little expertise here.

I have a 2007 323i, with no cruise at all. I have rain sensing wipers, but halogen non-adaptive headlights.

I'd like to retrofit ANY cruise control, no need for active / dynamic etc.

I found a steering wheel column with the right switches, but it came from a 2009 335 with option S544 (CC with braking). It has rain sensing wipers, but also adaptive xenon headlights (not sure if that's relevant).

Can someone confirm that the column with switches, and some coding, is all that I'll need to get basic CC? Is that option S540? Anything else I need to be aware of?

thank you!!!! Really appreciate all the posts already.

Would love a response sooner than later (want to secure that column), but of course any response is appreciated.

Send the part number of the column your looking into. It should work with proper coding.

Hello everybody,

I have little problem with my cc retrofit. I have put the new szl, added the $540 in Vo on CAS and FRM, calibrate the sensor. I have no errors or light on, but when I read the car with INPA I get this codes

9519 9519 -
windscreen wiper switch (SWS) not plausible- incorrect combination in windscreen wiper switch

No matching error symptom.
Test conditions fulfilled
Error present now and already stored
Error would not cause a warning lamp to light up
Error code: 95 19 60 02 28 4B 08 00 08 00 04

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9511 9511 -
FGR/ACC-steering column lever (LST) not plausible - incorrect combination with cruise cont

No matching error symptom.

Error code: 95 11 60 02 28 4B 08 00 08 00 04

Also the blinkers go by pushing the hazard button, I can get the wipers to cycle once by pushing the auto button (on the wiper stalk, plus the green led lights up) and all other movements do nothing. The check button on the indicator stalk works, as does the settings flipper.

Sorry for the long post. Does anyone had this problem?

Thank you

you need to code dsc, kombi and, maybe, reset adaptation of the engine control unit

Hi ptpending,
I coded the entire car. So those modules to. What do you mean by reset adaptation of the engine control unit?
