I've got a deposit down on an X1. Waiting for the dealer allocation to drop for the 2014s. Should be next week!

Great pheasant shot Lenny. They're hard to get in good light in the USA. I went to England and saw them wandering around like chickens when I learned that the country folk feed and raise them so that the Londoners can come out to shoot them in the fall. In the USA they're (mostly) wild and very wary.

After years of trying to shoot these guys in flight, here's my favorite shot to date:

Driving to a local watering hole I favor on Friday afternoon, I liked the composition of this train at the Port of Richmond(CA). The new eastern span (under construction) of the bay bridge visible in the background.

I feel like people have been bumping their saturation up lately

With the exception of Ed with his train picture

My pheasant in flight shot is seriously bumped. It was an experiment that people really, really like. Getty immediately listed it and it's sold a few good sized prints. I'm doing a metal print for a guy in the next week or so.

It only seems to be photographers that complain about Saturation and Vibrance (mine's actually Vibrance). People that buy images are not bothered at all.

I'm torn...

Dave
