Best deal I've ever found. The most impot. is the life time warranty. Even many shops claim that they will offer life time, you might have hard time if you actually go back for whatever reasons.

For me I did go back once, I've made a small scratch on the front passenger side window 6 days after the tint.. He just look at it for 2 seconds and replaced the whole piece tint for me.. During the whole process, he didn't even give me any hard time on it. That's why I'm trying to recommend him to whoever need to tint their window in this forum.

Oh ya, he uses the computer program to cut the tint, so the shape is gonna be as precise as it can be.
couple of things. first, the old adage "you get what you pay for" likely applies here. when getting a tint, it's a good idea to go with a reputable shop and if you do a search on the forum, you will see a number of places that have been recommended by other members. price should not be the determining factor. also, any good shop uses a computer to cut the tint. if you are going somwhere where the installer is estimating the size for your windows, then good luck to you! finally, people get too excited about "life time warranties". how long are you going to own your car? also, how long has the tint shop been in business? usually, the warranty comes from the manufacturer, i.e. Pinnacle. that's what I would focus on.

I just got mine tinted today. The installer had a heck of a time on my back window. It's somewhat white/blotchy towards the top (where the group of dot matrix sits) and a tiny horizontal blemish on the heater lines. Hopefully it will look better once it's had time to cure a bit.

What IS the purpose of the dot matrix lines? They "sanded" the very top of my driver and passenger side windows a little to get the tint to apply.

I love reading posts like this. You drive a BMW yet you are "broke" and can't afford $140 for a tint? Epic.

I don't think that's a fair statement, most of the people on this forum and who own a bmw in general drive models that cost less than a fullly loaded camry, accord and other similar brands available in the market.

Just because it has a premium name plate does not mean it costs more.

My little bro has been installing after market tint into vehicles as his occupation since he finished high school over 30 years ago. The guy is actually passionate about tinting. He has had his own shop as both a franchisee and as an independent. He is currently contracting his services to certain German dealerships in north Toronto but lives on the west side. He would likely be willing to do some private work. You would need to speak with him about what arrangements could be made. His name is Paul @ 416 459 5752 you can tell him his west coast Bro gave you his number.
