Exclamation N55 COBB AP North North American Dealers

Those of your that are using the COBB AP, if you take your car into the dealer, unless told, they will upgrade your car's ROM to a newer ROM software not supported by the NA version support of the COBB AP .

If you have to take your car in for warranty or maintenance make sure to let the dealer know NOT to upgrade the software on the car.

Thanks for the heads up. Must be the fact that service advisors are mostly there to sell, but my SA had no idea what I meant when I asked about the ROM on my car.

Technically yes, if their system shows you have a recommended update for your car.

You need to be verbal and make it clear, perhaps even watch your SA put it into the notes not to update the software. Well at least till COBB updates their AP for NA

My advice to many of you is start to complaining to COBB about this, they know about it, but I've seen some insane replies back to customer that they have to wait months for an update fix.
