That is why Dave... If we were going with a Standalone like we originally planned it would not have mattered.
Thanks for the explanation. Sorry about the insulting nature of my reply, I was just a little peeved that you would copy a successful innovation without giving a little credit to the source.

I must give credit to Vishnu/FFTEC for thinking the design up first. But I bet HPF's solution will be cheaper.

Although not the best comparison, but on their other kit they seemed very competitively priced.

I can only begin to imagine the price range for this thing! Lol I think that the single king will be Vishnu when it comes to price/power for quite some time. Though I'd like to be wrong.

yea, kind of lost faith in them after they tried to charge the n54 community 500 bucks for an oil catch can. Whoever said High Priced Fabrication is right. So far their work on the n54 is fail and anything they do develop will be a rehash of something already on the market. HPF impressed me with their work on the e46 m3 platform. Maybe they should give up the n54 and start with the e90/2/3 M3.

I think their price point was under $7k for the record. If anything, this manifold will be easier to build (read as cheaper).

As far as the turbo goes, I'm not sure if the precision twin-scroll costs less or more than the V-band; but I can tell you a Garrett twin-scroll is cheaper then a Tial V-band housing. My guess is the twin-scroll design will be cheaper to produce, overall (unless they use a twin gate setup, which may be preferable, but not required).

Yeah you're right. I don't need to apologize, I was just trying to be polite. The reality is HPF is copying the Vishnu/FFtec design and trying to say 'it's just natural', a 'no brainer', if only there was a standalone, etc. Those are very transparent excuses, I can see right through them. They don't need to admit where they got the idea for the new mani, just look at the pics, it's pretty clear.

Updates!!!!!!

Right off the bat you will notice the twin wastegate mounts. We decided to go with this design for flawless and ease of boost control. You’ll then notice the smoother twin scroll division. This served two purposes; faster spool up and allows a plethora of turbo chargers to be used with our kit. As mentioned before, we’ll be using a dual ball bearing 6466 divided turbo with our initial kit. We will definitely be testing other turbos as we develop more stages for the kit.

The runners are also nearly equal, that is always beneficial. With the manifold now in our hands, we are just in need of closing up lose ended projects before we can fully dive right into finishing the 335i kit. As always, we’ll be updating you as progress happens. Also we do plan on selling some components separately for those that would like to choose their own turbo and tune on their own.

They don't look the same. The new HPF manifold appears to be "stacked" towards the middle. The Vishnu manifold joins together at the middle.

Wow is right!!
I'd definitely be interested in a manifold/turbo/downpipe combo if its available separately

Edit... and if it will fit the XI... but something tells me it won't
