DSe93 you the exact opposite from me...I got the break pedal in...I can't for the life of me get the clip loose on the accelerator...I gave up....prolly gonna have the dealer install when I take it in for alarm activation...If anyone got any tips on the accelerator clip...let me know...I might try one more time before my fingers start bleeding...lol

And DSe93...try this...put the bottom part and the sides in 1st....For the top part instead of trying to grab the rubber flaps and pull them over try pushing the top part of the pedal in....floor the brake so to say....essentially "forcing" the top rubber pieces over the metal brake pedal....worked for me...hope this helps

FINALLYYY!!! thank you NACHO^^^ and thanks everyone else.. about the accelerator: squeeze both sides of the TOP of the plug (not where the lil hooks are, thats the bottom... but squeeze jus a bit higher than that - u shud feel the bottom expand...) and pull down with some manly force.. that shud let it slide right out.. I love these pedals

Just installed the pedals today, thanks for the tips guys! Took me around 20 mins to get it done.

A few notes that I made:
Start the break pedal definitely from the bottom, then the left hand side. I used a lot of that alcoholic lubricant. If the metallic frame goes only slightly off, for example from some corner, it is possible to push it back once the rubber is in its place. Just push the metal frame with one hand and use the other to pull the rubber from its edges. Worked for me.
Under the gas pedal, there is a small plastic spike right next to the screw hole. So, lift the pedal a little bit so that the spike comes out from its hole. Then turn the whole pedal slightly left, so that the spike does not fall back into its hole and push the pedal up. Should go off pretty easily.

Hope these notes help someone. But like I said already, good tips on this thread already. Thanks again! I'm loving my pedals.

Got these on last weekend, thanks to the tips in this thread and MTrizzy. For myself just used one armor all wipe as a lubricant to get the brake pedal on, worked good for us.

I put these on last night. I didn't use any lubricant for the break and clutch pedal, but it was hard. I started at the bottom and pulled hard for the right side then the left side. I'm pretty sure they're on good.

The accelerator was easiest of all, except that the electrical plug was hard to see.

2 days ago I totally gave up installing gas/brake pedals since it was humanly impossible to stretch and fit them and today, after reading all 3 pages carefully, I managed to install gas/brake pedals in under 15 mins.

1. Acc. Pedal- pretty straight forward simple job except it's a bit tough to unplug harness (harness is very short so you just to have to manage unpluging with only feel of finger tips.

2. Clutch Pedal- it was a bit bitch installing but I used a little bit of WD-40 and it worked after 10 mins of trying. I used "bottom in" slide first tactic and right side, left then top.

3. Brake PEdal- it was surprisingly easier than clutch pedals. A bit of WD-40 and it just pop in (I slide in from the bottom first, then it actually slide in all the way to the top no problem).

I don't know using WD-40 was a good idea or not (since it'll take forever to dry them out behind the rubber pedals). But I only have 2 options:
a. My girl's KY Lavender lube
b. WD-40 lube.

So my logical choice was WD-40.
Thanks for tip guys- really w/o those tips, I would never tried again to install it myself.
Now it looks great like P-car style and matches very well with my M dead pedal. Much better than Performance Alu pedals that I had on my E92 335i.

I just put these in my car last week. THANKS to everyone who made the job easy for me. It took em about 30 minutes to get the pedals installed. I bough them from Bloomfield BMW on EBay. This is what they look like with the M Dead Pedal.

Just an FYI for the E90 LCI models out there. The design of the accelerator pedal is different now. At the top where there is the stick that plunges into the sensor is now gone. All of the sensors are at the bottom and it looks like the pedal is floating with only half a back stop. Fear not as it looks like it is just a cost saving redesign as it is more compact and this stainless steel pedal swapped out with ease and works like a charm!

Just installed mine as well, are there any dead pedal out there that will be a perfect match for these? The M3 dead pedal dont have the same design and it says M on it

I just bought an M3 one from another user here. Haven't received it yet, but it's not going to be a perfect match. Plan on seeing how it looks - maybe it'll work, maybe it won't. Haven't found anything that actually matches these perfectly yet.

these are the pedals that come in the 335is. i'm ahead of the game by 3 years haha

I just finished installing my pedals, (pain in the neck) and I was a little bit concerned when I saw the new gas one.

In my case I own a oct 09' 335i and it came with the small support gas pedal. I bought my new ones from BMW Bloomfield NJ, and the gas pedal is considerably large but it fits like a glove. Turn on the car and responds just fine.

So are we talking about the same thing? and most of all... It should work just fine , right?
