Making Eisenmann Sport louder?

I believe I have an Eisenmann Sport muffler that was installed 2 months ago (ordered race but it's not even close to over 75db). I have 900miles on this thing now and it's still relatively quite. I have stock DP, 2nd cats in place, stock resonator on my '08 335i.

I want to make this louder, is it possible by putting an x pipe in place of the stock resonator? I don't want to lose the sound that it gives right now and I don't want to remove any cats since im in CA.

If so, what kind of x pipe can I have the muffler shop weld in place?

Anybody have sound clips of stock cats and pipes with an x pipe on a sport eisenmann ?

First get rid of that resonator, that should solve your problem w/o affecting the emissions equipment. With that said, it won't be a huge amount louder and you may find that catless downpipes (and even leaving the stock resonator in with those new downpipes, given that w/o a resonator you will hear some rasp) are necessary to give the desired effect. The O2 sensors can be sim'd very easily and most tunes now will remove the CEL (even though some won't be emissions compliant, the wire-in solutions like the BMS dpfix are OBDII test compliant).

do not delete the resonators. Cats are bad, resonators are great

the sound/power restriction comes from the cats tbh.

Taking out the secondaries will help make it louder, and won't throw a CEL as far as i know, I'm not entirely sure weather they will make it smell or not.

If you want loud, primary's are your best bet, but as you said, your in CA and shame for you US guys, there all bitches about emission testing.

Love the uk for that one..

By removing the resonator and placing an X pipe, how would this increase the sound? Any rasp? This is of course keeping both cats in place still as I don't plan to get downpipes nor remove 2nd cats.

As of right now, I have zero drone with the eisenmann.

Went ahead and had a magnaflow x-pipe welded in place of the stock resonator. Perfect sound. Same sound but a little more growl and a few DB's louder. There is a slight burble sound now which I like and feels a little increase in power. Thanks guys.
