Just did my car at 80k miles last weekend and oh man what a difference.
I stopped using DS and M modes because of the clunking and rough shifts. Now it's all smooth... Have yet to have one rough shift in the past week. BTW fluid looked toast and had little viscosity. I didn't see any metal parts on the magnets. |

2. press start button, don't push any pedals at this time. 3. instrument cluster will light up, press and hold gas pedal all the way to floor for 30 seconds. 4. keep foot on gas and press the start button again, release gas pedal. 5. don't do anything at this point just wait for 3 full minutes without touching anything... 6. after 3 minutes, press brake and start car. 7. NOW LET THE FUN BEGIN...

In the Bav Tech tool under the Transmission Module there's a Reset Adaptations options. I used that. Not sure if it did anything or not as I had no quantifiable/measurable data pre/post to compare to.

IIRC you need to do it using a computer. "INAP" setting or menu?. I've seen it on this board. BAVTech tool?
FWIW I've been told that the transmission will automatically adjust to the new fluid. Apparently the transmission constantly measures shift performance. |

It just feels lazy, it shift fine and smooth but their is no throttle response and it lags, DS feels fine, when I reset it their is a definite different feel, more direct and more responsive, I also could be getting CBU so bad that my performance is starting to suffer but that would not explain why it feels different between just reset and after about 2 weeks.. if I even make since... when reset it feels more raw with power like a diesel, I do have a JBD at %100 some say this hurts the tranny pedal response...

No, its just throttle lag, I think im getting use to the power and it just feels slower, I guess ill just keep resetting it each couple weeks, its easy to do, it just feels more direct, I mash the throttle and nothing when I reset the lag is just less, like the gas pedal is working more, even I'm confusing myself, lol...
