Newest Tune Release is Delayed. Well, I was afraid of this. Word got out about the newest tune and requests were mounting. I caved and released it. I am not happy with the performance. Rod was able to get a shift hang by making some engine performance changes and now we need to fix it. It looks to be an easy fix, so that is good. However, I want more beta testing before it is released to the public. Anyone that can do Testo logging and is making 450rwhp is welcome to try the tune. Note: We are trying to push the performance envelope here in terms of optimizing power transfer with this new tune. The original DWR TCU Tune will still handle high HP with out issue. |

Almost ready
Just wanted to let folks know we corrected the issue we found in the newest version of the tune - my fat fingers
Anyway, we have testers putting the tune through its paces, to make sure it meets high standards. Thanks to those who volunteered and continue to keep the TCU tune improving. |

Thanks to those helping out with this. And sorry DWR that I haven't been more helpful this time around. Just too many things going on and not enough time and energy...

On another note, I used the new Burger Tuning cable with my daughter's LG Android phone and it worked flawlessly. No issues and a great price (I'm not affiliated with them).

As somebody who does not have a transmission tune yet, how does this impact daily drivability?
80% of the time I drive in D and 20% of the time in DS. I rarely shift manually (no paddles, unfortunately) Is the TCU tune agnostic to the level of engine tune? Most people seem to be running it with aggressive ECU tunes, but I only have a JR Stage 2 non-delete tune. Is there any negative impact to the longevity/lifespan of the transmission? Thanks! |

I would like to know the same thing. Thinking of pulling the trigger soon!

For a DD tune, DWR is the way to go. Easy choice. I ran the xHP stage 3 tune, in D it's just awful. Short shifted like crazy, not impressed at all. Switched to DWR and haven't looked back.
JR2.8 here.
