I just think the lines flow better. I still have some more sanding to do. Wasn't planning to carpet it, but may do so for a better "blended" look.

It looks like the amp is mounted upsiode down with the fins facing down. I have heard of a lot of cases where this resulted in an overheated amp. Of course it may depend on how hard you're running it. I'd keep an eye on it.

The Zapco DC reference amps have a built in fan to run air through them. I doubt there will be any heat issues.
