Question NEEDED: DIY Repair Plastic Door Panel Parts

Hey everyone,

Hoping someone out there can share info regarding how to repair the inevitable scuffs and scrapes that accumulate over time on the lower door panel's plastic part. I've seen heat guns do some pretty incredible things on YouTube, but I'm not sure how that would affect the thin and soft rubbery outer layer. Hoping someone in these forums can share some expertise!

Many thanks,

Chad

yea, contact Don at mypearltpi@aol.com and tell him Eric sent you. he can get you the OEM material (it's likely not cheap).

What is the solution? Replacing the entire door panel or can you just remove the plastic handle insert and replace or refinish?
