Atlanta and North Georgia Road Bike Riders
Just curious who around is into road biking? I have been MTBing for a while but just picked up a road bike and am enjoying it. Did 31 miles last Saturday with some friends up in Cartersville and want to ride again this Saturday but everyone is going out of town.
I plan on doing the 45 mile loop Saturday morning and wanted to see if anyone else will be going or is interested. |

I used to roadbike when my bike fit lol. It was actually an old 10 speed we restored. I mostly do MTBiking now. I just moved to Ksaw a few weeks ago (for college) and it seems like there's some good roads, but traffic kills it for me. Sounds like a good ride but I don't think I can make it this time.

Let me know if you want to ride sometime as I normally hit the trails twice a week. As for road biking, it is hard around here. But up in Catersville, at the Buweiser plant, they have the roads marked with different length rides; 15, 31, 45, 60 and 100. You actually park at the plant and ride out onto desolate country roads with little to no traffic. It is made up of some rolling hills along farm land. |

Hey Steve,
I have a pretty decent hybrid bike in addition to my MTB, so I am down for road biking too. Remember that my house *is* on the Silver Comet Trail, so we could meet up at your place for mountain biking and my place for road biking. -Walter
