Ive got a alot on my plate I told him, the clear bra, the Springs and saving up for a very expensive family trip to Hong-kong/Hawaii and Asia this year. It has to take the back seat

Usually they will do the alignment with the driver in the seat since it represents more accurate driving dynamics for the car. I don't think it matters in the real life, but some people are anal like that.

I get the sense that you're an example of this 'some people' category

I think its cool, the left settings are a little different than the right, that's to factor in the driver's weight, I suppose.

Cool...hmmm they should've put weights in the driver seat to compensate for the corner weight...you have 4000 miles to touch up right? i might take it back and have them align it according to driver's weight, and how much gas was in the car at the time?


BMWs are very picky with alignment, from the factory, the driver's side of the car is always a little higher than the passenger side to accommodate the driver, and when you lower it, it changes a little...so weights will need to be put in to properly align it...
