Coding side lights (angel eyes)

I have a pre lci with lci halogen headlights can the car be coded that the side lights come on when I unlock the car with the fob if the car doesn\'t gave auto lights?

Must have atleast the FRMII module (NFRM) The FRMI in your early years do not support welcome lights.

Its the Footwell Module and controls all of the lighting in the car plus other things. You can purchase them for about 300 I believe.

welcome lights are just the lights under the door handle, & under the doors when you open them, right?

i have an 07 pre lci e90, and i believe i have welcome lights..does this mean i have FRM 2?

Not necessarily. Welcome lights are also your headlights and tail lights. Basically the lights that come on when you hit the unlock button on your key fob.

I have an 07 pre lci e92 and have FRM2, however depending on your production month you may not.

When you unlock do your license plate lights and angel eyes softly light up? If so you have WL. Also if you have iDrive there is an option to turn WL on and off in your settings.
