supersprint downpipes, cats, and turner pullies on M3

my friend is doing a little project on his car, was helping him out and snapped some pictures to share.

my E92 335 with just JB2 was pulling a car's length ahead last time we raced.
now with these mods on his M3, hm....i dont know....we will see, i will try to get a video when he is finished with his little project.

Tell him to get gears. Its probably one of the best thing he can do without going FI, for the money.

Like around 3k. Depends on what you get tho. Theres 4.11 and 3.91.

From personal experience, and from my friends that have m3's. The 3.91 seem to do be the best choice. But tell him to do a search and find out what preference is best for him.

Dude.. that belt on the top idler pulley doesn't look right at all. I think the belt should go underneath the pulley. Not on top of it.

Are those Supersprint Stepped Headers? With good software this should be a 30hp gain.

I was thinking that as well. The upper right pulley doesn't look to have much surface area contacting it that way and that idler doesn't have grooves for that side of the belt.

Did he already bought the TMS injector software? If anything I recommend the Discovery Automotive Race software. It's the popular one out there for the E46 M3 header setup.

Yep!
I put on the 4.10s on my M3 and they were awesome!
The RPMs only went up 500 on the freeway.

But, I think the 3.91s are the best of both worlds.

You're absolutely right. I really hope he didn't go driving like that.
