Is it for me?
I have been reading so many great reviews of the tuning options for the 335i such as cobb, jb4 and dinan. I would love to get some more power out of my car, but I am not mechanically inclined and I am worried that if I had a tune done I would not be knowledgeable enough to look for possible engine troubles and the tune would hurt the car.
My main concern is my 335i be reliable and stay in perfect mechanical condition for a long time. And like I said, I am not mechanically inclined at all so as far as tunes go, I don't know what I would be getting myself into. However, I would like some more power if it is simple and safe. |

Come on, we have upgraded turbo cars pushing 700whp now on the stock engine while if you get a simple tune you'll be pushing 350whp max.
That tells you about the reliability. |

Im pushing 350WHP/400+ TRQ and the engine is fine and I know it can take more. The 335i comes with 8.8 PSI (please correct me if im wrong) as standard, I'm running 13 and no engine issues other than the standard maintenance issues that would happen with or without a tune. BB

I've installed many tunes for the average joe who doesnt know an intake from an exhaust. They love the extra boost in power and the car is just as reliable as it was stock. I'd be more inclined to recommend the Cobb only cause of its ease of install. Literally plug it into your OBD II port and follow the prompts to install.

Yes the car is reliable but I wouldn't jump the gun by mentioning products just yet.You never know, he could install a cobb tune the next day and then blame U specifically. Only trying to protect the product and ur comment as we both have no idea what shape the OP car is in. Warm regards, BB
