Hi All

BMW went into sytner last week to sort out my bluetooth in the car. 2 hours later they said that they cannot get power to the unit, they tried a doner bluetooth module but that also had no power..

He said he will need the car again and check the bluetooth control unit

1) does anyone have any other ideas why there is no power to the bluetooth module in the boot

and also

2) where is the bluetooth control unit located.

Also i will be checking all fuses to see if any have blown.

BT unit is under the boot floor. I think there are connectors behind the rear seat side bolster, not sure if these are just the fibre optic connectors though.

Thanks.. Yeah i have the BT unit in the boot, however bmw said theres another control unit as they put in a doner unit in the boot and this had no power to

Might be worth oiking up the boot floor and having a look what you've got (just pull up te handle in the floor) there's a harness right at the back near the rear seat.
