I don't know the torque spec, sorry... Maybe somebody with a shop manual will have that info.

This is something that I may want to do in the future if I have the cash. I really regret not getting the sports package because of the seats... Thanks for keeping us updated!

It's done! All the features work and no airbag or seat belt codes!!!
Here's the DIY as promised. On a scale from 1-10 for ease of installation, this one is definitely a 1! Oh and I didn't take pics of the seats, cause everyone knows what zsp seats look like. lol! http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...91#post4750291

Great job on the swap; I'm surprised that all functions works even though another member had stated you'll lose side bolster adjustment functionality.

If you have ZPP (premium pkg) but no ZSP, you would still get the seat bolster adjustment. That's why you retained the function when you swap seats. I think you can do it with M3 seats and get the same result as well.

Sure, but I have Silver Novillo leather seats and you would have to come to Seattle to do the swap

I found out last Thursday. It was one of the most stressful days ever in my life. I let out a long sigh of relief after I open the envelope at 12:02pm EST.

Sorry for the jack, but can you give an approx. price for the seats part by part, you used to have M3 seats for your 335 right? I just want the zsp seats, not M3... TIA |

I just swapped out E92 non-Sports for Sports seats & am having a problem.
The foreward/backward and up/down functions work, but not the seatback control. Has anyone had this problem? I am cool with modifying the wire harness to enable the lumbar control if someone has the schematic to share. Thanks!!! |

Do you know if you got the seats from a 2008? The reason I ask is because doing research on the parts to convert from non-sport to sport I noticed some internal part changes from 2007 to 2008, at least for an e90. I wonder if this might possibly cause an issue? On another thought, did your original seats have lumbar support?
