Only 2 Rear Seatbelts in a E92 ? wtf ??

Arrrrrrrggghhhhh

I was all set to order a 335d E92 and then I noticed the rear seats, there appears to be only room for 2 rear passengers ? and accordingly only 2 seatbelts ? wtf

I unfortunately need a car with 3 rear belts for when the whole family goes out, have I missed something or is the E90 my only choice ??

I actually prefer my E92 only having 2 rear seats as they are larger and more befitting a sports coupe.

But I too have a family and the E92 alone would simply not suffice - happily my wife fancied the E91 and so we have one of those pending delivery to cater for the whole family, including Nandi our Labrador!

Yeah, I agree with Mr 1stKnight - I prefer the two 'proper' seats in the back with the console in the middle.

2+2 is fine.

The only time I have ever used the 2+2.5 in the back of my E46 is when my outlaws come to visit.

All in all 2+2 sounds good to me.

Roll on the delivery of my E92!!!

"Outlaws" I love it! Too bad my inlaws are actually pretty nice so I can't call them that.

Didn't the two doors put you off? Getting kids in and out of coupe's is a complete pain in the arse.

Golden yellow. She is not yet 3 months old.

I named her after a Zulu Queen and she is adorable; 'attacks' me every morning and can't wait to repeat her assault in the evening when I return home from work.
I'm the only one in the family who allows her to play 'rough' and I have dozens of scratches as my reward.

Yep I agree - really like the look of the two seats in the back along with the flowing centre console from front to rear.

We only have one child (7 months) so we have him in the back seat using the isofix and then have the two dogs chained up on the other rear seat. (A bichon frise and a wee heinzy)
All the rest goes into the boot. (travel cot, buggy, our travel bag, and all other baby bits)

We are gonna take the E91 on hols (lake district) next week though as it will just be handier with the extra space and doors. I wonder if I can swap out the engines before i go

Good-looking dogs! I think my little Nandi will look similar to Millie when she is older - they are beautiful.

I've had German Shepherds and Pyrennean Mountain dogs in the past - my Dad used to take them to dog shows.

I've always like Labs and Nandi stole my heart the second I saw her!

It's got 2 belts, because there are only 2 seats. This basically rules out the e92 for me, which is frustrating because I was a big e46 fan and the new coupe was a logical choice. The Audi A5 is exactly the same.

I think it's daft, I've got 2 kids and on the odd occasion when a grandparent came out with us we could sqeeze 3 people in the back, I can do this with my e90 (less of a squeeze actually), but not with e92.

Not really, I found the big doors on the e46 really useful for lifting baby seats in and out. Now the kids are older it's also really easy to lift the seat and let them dive in the back.

Cute labradoodle, but she looks like shes getting ready to rip the camera from your hands.

This thread is misleading.
