Well I got sick of not being able to code my FRM for some reason so I downloaded 45.9GB worth of Progman/ISTA files. Hope that will work

For example everyone with the gear and exclamation point, this will get rid of it.

Ditto, but I'm in the UK with a 2009 e89 Z4 35i. Really only want those options too. And the ability to reverse them, or add them again should dealer wipe them.

Don't think anyone has talked about it before. It's in the ABG module. If i'm not mistaken the value contains the word airbag.

I'm thinking of enabling DRL on my F10, will this method works with F series cars?

update: I read some of the earlier pages and found Phil said something about disconnecting pin 8 of the OBD2 connector to make it work on Ethernet enabled cars(F series cars). is phil also the vender selling this cable?

Lights work perfectly but I still haven't figured out how to remove the Brake light error on the iDrive... There is no error reported for the turn signals..

maybe someone else can chime in ??
Coded that in last night and it worked perfectly except that I just like you still have errors for the brake lights. But so much better now to have 100% functioning blinkers!

Still trying to get the SSS going.

I can't belive the DVD in motion has still not been defeated. I have contacted 3 different groups who claim they can do it and they all want $2000 for the answer. There has to be an easier way. Does anyone have this enabled or coded by someone? It seems there all doing it without enabling the speed lock menu.

I and two others have offered $200 each so far (for a total of $600) and I know you mentioned you'd put some money in as well so if we can get a collective fund going, then we could just pay one of them.

I see these under the .trc "VIDEO_DENY_C0B=deny_slow_key" and "VIDEO_DENY=deny_slow_key" when it reads all the module, but they were not showing when I read under the CIC

I will put $200 into the fund as well. That's a total of $800. Please let us know if you want to donate into this so we can fix this once and for all. I think it's crazy it's such a big deal but I'm tired of these "vendors" charging outrageous prices for this feature

I just got a new laptop and installed everything. I tried coding this in the CIC

SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MAX
nicht_aktiv
SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MIN
nicht_aktiv

and when coded got an error but I was able to coder other values. Maybe these are releated to the DVD in motion. Can anyone else test or try to code this. I need to try my old laptop to see if that works. What driver are you guys using for Win7 and the settings. I used to use XP but my new lappy is Win7 x32.

Got my coding done. Doors unlock when the keyfob is removed from the slot, windows rollup with keyfob.

Next is mirror fold-in with fob and remove idrive disclaimer.

Tried those, no luck. I'm running Win7 x64 but using Virtual PC to run XP for coding to keep it separate from all my other files.

No luck getting the coding to "stick" if you will. By the time the CIC turns off and turns back on after writing, the coding has already reverted back.

I'm just using FTDI drivers I think.

Does it let you change those speed values? When I try to code it, it throws and error and doesn't write to the car but I can code other options in the CIC, it's just 2 values don't work.

On my 2011 CIC the two parameters are different -

SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MAX_C0E
nicht_aktiv
SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MIN_C0E
nicht_aktiv

I just changed them to 3_kmh as allowed by using NCSdummy. I re-read the car and the values still stick. I haven't tried driving the car though.
