Hey Guys,

I've been lying low recently...lots of turmoil at work. I hate when work interferes with fun.

Anyway, the BBQ is on the weekend we plan to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday. Don't know which day, yet. I hope to be able to join you but will probably not know until the last minute.

just booked a business/pleasure trip to Dallas and wont get back till 2am Sunday the 27th, so I'm not gonna be able to make it.

do we have enough people assigned to the various tasks? and what else needs to get done?

*sigh* i might have a fuel pump issue, car started acting up after i gave Donny a ride yesterday...

now the CEL is on...let's hope it's not the case

Hope....ahhh such a funny thing.

As of Saturday, there are 256 fuel pump back orders in the USA.
As of Saturday, my car has been at the dealer since March 27th.

I will know more about this today.

Starch...are you serious? this is terrible, BMW should start a recall after they make Siemens mass produce the part...

Yeah i heard it's a 2 months wait for the fuel pump...absolutely ridiculous...

It is Mothers Day after all, I will need to allow plenty of time for the GP of Spain in honor of my wife!

BMW has stopped producing new 335i's and is pulling all fuel pumps off that vehicle.

I too heard that BMW was moving production dates back for all pending orders to correct a 'problem' in the fuel delivery system.

That a widespread recall was not necessary, but that some of the older 'initial production' high pressure fuel pumps were failing.
