I got rocks and dirt into the engine air intake. Help me lord

Ok so removed the stock air filter to replace it, and after i removed the filter i noticed there was a lot of sand and dirt and small rocks, so I got my vacuum and tried sucking it up, but the suction caused a lot of the small rocks and dirt to fall into the main engine air intake. from what I know this goes straight to the turbo propellers.

now what lol

tow your car to the dealer, and have them remove the intake plumbing to clean out EVERYTHING! That will be a lot cheaper than a new Turbo.

Salad fingers Probably a good idea to take it apart and clean the piss out of it... Or have dealer do it like suggested ^^^

Remove all the air plumbing, this is going to suck but your only choice.

I'm not even sure how it's even possible for that to happen...whatever you do, don't turn the car on

ok so here's an update:

I had to get to work today so I started my car, and surprisingly nothing blew up. either the dirt is stuck somewhere in the air system, maybe in the intercooler, maybe even made it into the engine, but either way all seems normal. if my car blows up in a week i take full responsibility

Not smart. The debris probably damaged your turbo compressors. At this point i would hope the intercooler caught the debris because if it made it inside the compression chambers, well, bad things can happen

damn that sucks. +1 on always wrap/tape/stuff hoses/pipes etc. Just remember to take them out before you install as well. lol I had to re-do my CAI because I thought I left a towel in the hose (i didnt but better safe than sorry). I wish you the best of luck.

If something does go wrong. Can the dealership easily link it to owner causing damage and void his warranty?
