Will the turbo side leak if the gasket is not there?
Not unless the flange on the DP side has very poor flatness. Given that they are all machined, then welded, I doubt there's any tolerance there that the V band cant take care of.

Thanks for the replies guys! looks like i'll probably just reuse the stock gaskets unless they look bad.

I checked the downpipes when I got home and saw no sign of an old gasket on the turbo side...Oh well!

One good thing was that since one of my Vband clamps was cracked because of heat so I went to the dealer during the install and replaced both V band clamps so they are brand spanking new..

If its not leaking I wouldnt worry about it. But if I knew I was going to take them off (and they arent there) , I'd still put them in.

Its always better to be safe then sorry! i woulnt want to do that job twice.

i took the DPs into auto zone and for $3 got new exhaust gaskets, plus the originals could be restrictive.

You picked up the gaskets from turbo to downpipe (#3 in op diagram) at auto zone or the gaskets from downpipe to exhaust (#6 in op diagram)?

I'm talking about #3....

My iCarbon's came with exhaust gaskets and hardware so won't be needing them.

Does anyone know a part number for the turbo to Downpipes gasket… I’m looking for it in FCPEURO but am having trouble, unless they don’t carry it
