I'm guessing you are getting just the BOV for 200

The 335 engine already has a bypass system that works quite well with the engine computer. The BOV would be purely for the sound of it, correct?

Don't throw away your warranty.
If you really want it, all power to you, but you'll void your warranty. (You'll shoot your eye out kid...)

Void your warranty becuase of a BOV? haha. Come on man please, if your dealership is that lame, you need to move or find another dealership. And by law, they cannot void your warranty unless that specific part is linked or the reason something went wrong.

You will get bored of it real fast. It's a pretty common first mod upon first time owner. It happens to the Evo owners and WRX/STi owners. They all went out and bought a HKS SSQV and end up selling it a month down the line.
The OEM holds boost just fine, no need to upgrade it. |

They will find any reason to void your warranty. Dealer threatened to void mine even if I wired a radar detector into my car. Just playing it safe.

Personally, I always thought of a nice growl-y rip-roaring exhaust note sounded aggressive. A loud BOV doin' its thing sounds.....well, like something's about to break. Low-rent.
Just my opinion, for what it's worth.

Your dealer sucks. And your SA is an asshole. You're not going to blow your motor if you wire in a radar detector. Nor will anything happen with your warranty.
