Lovely, lovely car!
Though that interior must be a biatch to keep clean?! I'd be cleaning it every time i got in/out of it!
Fair play for keeping it in pristine condition so far!

Looks great in the pics

In normal light it looks just like black but when clean and in sunlight you get the very deep dark ruby red coming out.

The last picture of the Z4 in the link bolow may give you a better idea but pc monitors don't help.

Z4 in Ruby Black

Lovely combination, but it's not the cabin you'll find difficult to keep looking that good. I have the same interior, but with Le Mans Blue and two years/14K miles on, the leather is as new. It's the tiny stone chips that really show against dark colours; I've tried touching some in with a very fine brush, but the resulting blob looks as bad as the chip. Until paint technology comes up with top-coat coloured primer - I'm going for boring white or silver on the next car.
And, before anyone chimes in with comments about tailgating - I always leave at least a 2 second gap between me and the car in front.

Looks great. Alfa do a similar colour - Etna black. I pass a Mito that colour most days and it looks great in the sun too!

Looks a nice wet look

I'd tyre gloss those tyres with a good dose of Meguiars High Gloss Tyre gel or something similar, to match the body work.

As someone else has mentioned, Ruby can be difficult to maintain. Hopefully you be able to keep the finish with carefuly washing/waxing

Car is a late September 09, browsing the used BMW's you can see that from October 09 onwards they all have the newer style, Septembers ones are 50/50.

Cars with the newer mirrors are of course faster and more attractive to the opposite sex - FACT!

I really like the exterior colour and the interior combo, piano black works really well with the cream interior. Very nice looking car and something different.

And that's before you notice the tacky vinyl covered sun visors, the cheap ventilation control knobs, the lack of the front centre armrest cooler compartment and cup holders in the rear centre armrest. I was going to change my '08 E92 until I saw the quality downgrade. Now I'll wait for the next new 3 series.
