So I know the wheel setup, but could you give me details about the tires? I'm more curious about the brand and set up you have that made it have "that look". Namely how the tires bulge/round out like that? I know different companies have different finishes despite being X/X/X tires... so I'm trying to figure out how to get that tire setup/look for my car?

And anyone else can feel free to chime in/help.

Thanks

I have a decent stretch and stance look. My tires are Continental DWS. 235/40/18 & 265/35/18.
The reason I went with these tires is for comfort, durability, quietness, and stretch. The side walls aren't too bad and these stretch well. Obviously, if I were tracking the car more, I'd be rocking Nittos or something.

Okay, that helps.

So I like the stretch a lot and I can get the tires separate. For someone not rocking big brakes and just getting sport springs, would

MRR Wheels GT-1 wheels in 18x8.5 et20 and 18x9.5 et24 work? The front doesn't look like it would and I'm guessing an et38 would be safer. But would the et24 rear work or would I encounter rubbing? I feel like I'd be safe without a fender roll but... I'm still learning offset for these cars. Should I play it safe and get a higher offset and use spacers? I guess I'm trying to figure out the lowest offset I can run for these cars without running into fender rolling on 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 I don't want 19s at the moment.

You've got plenty of space with that setup.
You won't NEED to roll fenders either.
+20 and above is ample room.

Can I play too?

I am less than half way down both in the front and rear. If I was to go all the way down I wouldn't be able to move. This game is fun.

More angles of this.
What's your camber set at? I just ordered mines in slightly more aggressive specs and would love to get some insight on your fitment.

I'm gonna go with yes.

You bought a car. Not a off road vehicle.

Nonetheless I wanna see a lifted xi so do it. post pics. You'll probably get flamed but I'll applaud you for your commitment so there's that.

You can pull off something badass suchas:

Well, to me I take full advantage of the xi system. Yes, it's a somewhat low awd sedan but damn she handles well offroad. I've thrown it through mud, dirt, florida sugar sand, hills, and dunes. I'm amazed at how well the xi system does offroad. There will be a lift kit made for it eventually, when I get out of Aeronautic Mechanic Engineering school. But that'll be in a year and a half, when I have a steady source of money coming in again. I have plans for it already, and can't wait to start it going again.

One of the head guys for the CFBMW club back in FL kept telling me that, he absolutely hated it when I would go to the meets with it completely covered in mud and dirt from my escapades.
