Yea you did about 3 times as much work as needed. I did mine last weekend. didnt even take the bumper off, just dropped the under tray and everything came right off, the one time use clamps was my only issue.

I didn't want to damage anything. I took tires off also the under tray front bumper and I also struggled with the oem clamp
and for some reason the fmic fitment took a few try's
but I got her done

I was viewing the wrong video online at first.
that's why I got side track
