Some e46 owners "blacked" them out at the same time they did the kidneys, I would bet a lot of LCI e92/3 owners will do the same...
+1... i would black or body color out those bars... blech ~Frost

I'd be interested to see what the price on a 335is + M-Sport package is going to be. I have to assume it'll end up being just a couple thousand dollars shy of an entry level M3, at which point, what's the point?
I thought the Australian-spec 340i would be the US-Spec 335is... ~Frost

The shifter in these images looks like the "sport auto" that is in the E60 currently, the only difference was the shifter from the 535 SA and the 335A so it looks like they may have upgraded the shifter but I am not 100% sure at this point since the DCT also looks similar. We all should know for sure by Thursday.

Love the rear- not feeling the front except the lights.

Yes, but not because of pedestrian safety as as been suggested, but rather because of the size of the mirror that is now required by law. Taken from that big post on page #7:

Quote:
The exterior mirrors also come in new design, adding yet another innovation to the unique looks of the BMW 3 Series Coupé and the BMW 3 Series Convertible. In their dimensions they naturally comply with the latest legal standards, offering the complete mirror surface and coverage required. And in their new format, the rear-view mirrors blend harmoniously into the side view and silhouette of each model.

I love it! I especially love the horizontal silver slats on the front bumper...looks like the Ferrari F458, nice!

I like how flat our front end is. It's very different than 99% of the cars on the road. I'm displeased with the additional length added to the nose.

Yes, but they actually do something on the 458. At high speed, they move downward to redirect the air underneath the car and reduce drag.

The lines on the M-Sport seem to work better with the new headlights.
I'm not a big fan of the extra vertical line they've added on either side of the fog lights, but this still looks better than the standard LCI.

I think thats incorrect, at least here in the middle east the DCTs on the 335i came with the same paddle shifters as the automatic.

I don't know about that. The LCI M-Sport front bumper looks a lot more aggressive and angular than the pre-LCI M-Sport bumper. It's comparable to the difference between the F430 front bumper and F430 Scuderia front bumper. I like it better than the M3 front bumper!

I noticed that as well, but I think it could just be the photo, lighting and white color on the car that makes it look more angular. I'm comparing side by side on my screen with pre lci msport and I think they could actually be the same bumper, but who knows for sure at this point.

Check out these two pics:

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showpos...3&postcount=87

The pre-LCI and LCI E92 M-Sport bumpers are definitely different. Notice the placement of the headlight washers. And the LCI faux intakes have an extra kink along the bottom edges that the pre-LCI intakes don't. Generally, some of the major lines on the pre-LCI bumper are parallel to each other, whereas the LCI bumper has more interesting angles about it.

wait a second. Does the E92 LCI have eyelids? Does the E90 have it too? Looks a bit... weird. That and the silver/plastic shit on the bumper. Looks like something from ikea home furnishing.
