White e90, should I go blacklines or leave it stock?
I'm purchasing a white e90. I saw on the homepage the "project cars" and one is an alpine white that they put blacklines on.
I think it looks ok but would prefer to get something that more matches the white than contrasts with it. I think blacklines look great on darker cars but not so much on the lighter ones. What do you guys think? I thought I read a post a while back about white lines? |

I agree. IMO, blacklines belong on dark cars. They look weird on white cars. I'd make myself some with whitelines.

I think the inside portion of the blacklines would look nice. I have a set for a sparkling graphite and I think Im only going to use inner lights, waste of money but I like it

I agree, i dont think the blacklines look all that special on light color exteriors.
I think it'd be cool if they made somethin like these taillights for the e46

Some live meet photos of AWs with and without for your decision.
Trust me, may be both look ok on those photos, when I saw them in real live, I would find a hole to hide if I have a AW with stock taillamp. Sorry , no offensive, it is just me.

I have blacklines on my AW E90 and they do look better than stock. BUT, I am not totally satisfied with the look. I think a set that are "clear" would look best on lighter color cars. Basically the black line style of lighting, but the OE inner light color.
So far no one makes these so its DIY. I am waiting to find a some time to try it out myself. |

Here is a link with good pics of the blacklines on white. I think they look perfect on whit. The stock taillights have too much red on them.

I love blacklines on my AW E90. Never doubted my choice. It looks sexy on AWs.
