hey mike, i've had really good luck with new concepts autoworks in plano. they painted my front and rear m3 bumpers for about $400 each with install and paint. paint is spot on - they do a lot of high end cars (lambos ferraris). ask for Bruce, he will set you up right.

check engine light turn on today driving to southlake this morning. the engine bog down.... Pulled over and the car was shaking like if it was misfiring. Turn it off and turn it on right away; the light turned off and the car stoped shaking. Ran fine until I hit the gas again to pass another car. WHAT COULD THIS BE? It's been happening alot lately..... I took it in to Autozone to get the service engine light tested and it said "cylinder 6 misfiring"... sparkplug? Coil? ENGINE??? I don't have bmw warranty anymore. and I've never done the sparkplug nor the coil change since I've bought the car. BTW it has 112,000 miles (i drive alot for work)
CAN SOMEONE HELP ME OUT AND POINT IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION? |

I know this may churn up some bad comments, but will anyone be at C&C this weekend? They are having a meet this weekend, right? I should be picking up my car from the body shop that morning and will be already over in Plano, so I am trying to schedule some time to stop by and say hi.
Btw, been posting over on the 1'er boards for past several months, but was told this is where the DFW ppl are at.

C&C turnouts during the winter usually aren't as ridiculous as in the spring/(before summer heat) days/fall.
I guess it is kind of hit or miss. I just ended up going to eat after lol. Or I keep an eye out for the Buggati or the matte black porsche gt.

BTW wheel spacers are such crap... I did everything I could to get the dirt / rust off my wheel hub and that thing still vibrated all over the place around 80mph. I just got sick of cleaning, testing, cleaning, testing. I will go get the tires roadforced balanced this week while it is at BMW, and if that doesn't work, I'm selling them. Anyone every get their spacers to *not* vibrate like a sex toy.

^^^No prob here^^^
Ran HR 15mm rear and 10mm front spacers for 50K plus miles on Tomato without any problems. Hit 150+ on desolate roads in middle of no where without any issues either. What brand are you using? Did you get them new with proper size extended lug bolts? Sharkbait will be getting a set of H&Rs as well in near future. Tomato

Rofl i have no idea what happened... Anyways, I got sick of cleaning and putting them back on. Sometimes the vibrations would be worse, and sometimes they would be better but never be perfect. I'm thinking that i will try one more time after I get the wheels RF balanced. The brand is matt schnell and they are the newer ones. I just hate the way the wheels look without spacers
