Request for sub frame bushing diy
I have JIC suspension and m3 bushings and would like any diy tips.

Looks like you will be the one doing the DIY. Make it good and make us proud!

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger

What tips are you looking for? I just replaced my control arms, tensions struts, ball joints, sway bar, etc. on a 328xi. What advice are you looking for? Or does your inquiry go beyond what I have done?

It is about replacing sub frame bushings with m3 ones.

Hmm, do you mean the bushings on the contol arms, etc. or on the sub-frame itself? My 328xi does not have separate subframe bushings (I removed my sub-frame as well and there are no bushings for it).

Ok there is the issue, the n54 cars have the seperate bushings.
Guess I will give it a shot soon, I have the bentely manual but not the special tool.

If its anything like my E34 (which also has the beercan subframe bushings), the special tool helps immensely and are very expensive to buy.

Ya I am going to rent it and they are about half a beer can tall and 1/3 wider

Going to make an attempt tomorrow with out the proper tool.

Yep, not going to try. Too much work for someone who it took 6 hrs to do the rear shocks and springs....
