Steering Wheel Cover?

Hey guys,

I'm wanting to buy the electronic BMW Performance steering wheel. I drive my car daily and I have owned alcantara wheels before. I do a lot of driving and do not have enough time to clean/apply protectant to the alcantara every two weeks or so. Are there any steering wheel covers that would work for that wheel that I can just take off really easily before a car show but one that would not cover the electronic part of the wheel? I know it will cover the beautiful alcantara, but I'd rather keep it fresh...!

Any ideas/suggestions?

Thanks

nope, if you really care just get a pair of driving gloves. steering wheel covers are for beaters and taxi drivers.

no other way around it, just do it!

get the legit sparco ones and use those if you aren't too keen on using the leather BMW ones.

I'll take a look at some options and see what there is. I know the covers are pretty stupid but it would be the easiest solution. Just a nice black leather that wraps around most of it. Maybe I'll see if some place around me can make me one

Lol, I didn't want to be that guy either. I do have a black leather golf glove I use if I have a long work day and drive with my left hand most of the time. I hide it cause I don't want to be that guy cause I think it's halarious also. I also keep hand sanitizer in my car to clean my hands before i drive if I don't use the glove, which is only on long trips. Last thing is I do use scotch guard on the wheel and apply once a month or when I have time. So far so good, still looking new after 4 months.
