Try this... http://www.enormouslysideways.net/calc.html A note about all of this...theoretical tops speeds...like being calculated don't calculate for drag....In every application I have heard of...it takes over 500 hp to break 200 mph. (not sure if that is completely accurate or not but that is my observation unless i am forgetting something) You aren't considering drag (friction: air, road, etc.), capability of the car to maintain traction or even stay together (imagine a model-t hotrod at 180 mph...parts everywhere) etc. etc. Also...at these speeds the size of your tires increases drastically over what you measure at rest....pressure increase around 8 psi and the force of spinning expands the tire as does the heat generated at these speeds. In addition your tire size...isn't the real size...especially considering wear and the "squish" from the car's weight. Considering a car has the power and the proper tires, as well as the ability to stay operating and on the road at these speeds...it should be able to go slightly faster than what these calculators come up with. That is assuming you can generate basically as much power as you want.

Cannot try this right now as my winter tires are limited to 270 km/h, but will give it a go again in spring when catless dps and secondary race cats will be installed. Should be able to hit around 315 km/h on the speedo then. Alpina_B3_Lux

I was racing my friends E92 M3 some time ago, we were neck and neck right up to top speed. His speedo was showing 315 km/h, my GPS - 290 km/h.
