Maybe AR Design should find a way to take the Magnaflow Hi-Flow cats that they use for their DP's and incorporate into the mid pipe section to replace the stock cats with the hi-flow cats? Just a thought, as I really want to be able to pass emissions, not get killed by the dealer and keep the drivability of the car down with very little drone if any.

Cheers

Borla needs welding and modifications and I think Riss Racing mid pipes do as well...

I am looking for something that I can swap with the stock Carted mid pipes without cutting or welding!

Cool

Doesn't eliminating secondary cats cause an emission test failure (if the emission test uses "a sniffer")?
Can someone confirm? Thank you

Edit: You can get AE exhaust with HFC for $1700 + 425. The AMS 3" is about $1600 straight pipe w/o cats.

Where are you seeing BB catless DP's for 425= shipping? I cant find them anywhere cheaper than 549+ shipping. TIA, Nick

I think that was the initial buy from the vendor who wanted a market share with this crazy low price, since then I guess selling it at that price was insane, so he raised it up to 549 with shipping knowing he will still sell them and under cut the pipes from AR

OK guys,

Those of you that want to run catless downpipes and remove the secondary cats with the stock exhaust on an E92 MUST ADD RESONATORS.

Unless you want VTEC Kicked-In-Yo type of rasp between 1.5K and 2.5K

Going back to the muffer shop this weekend.

I gutted my secondary cats. It doesn't get much louder inside the car, however it's very noticeable outside.
