Pic of my E92 with LUX H8 V3, Nokya 2500K fogs, and coded amber delete
Just sharing a pic of my updated lighting setup. I'm happy with the way my lights look, but I may move to HID fogs soon to replace the Nokya fog bulbs.
Lights are:

Actually, I think the inner lights are off. I didn't realize it until after taking the pic and uploading it, and I haven't bothered to check, but it may just be the reflection of the light from the angel eye ring in the housing.

Nice car OP, we basically have the same car. Just mine is JB. I went with the Alpine HID in yellow and it's not the same hue of the Nokya (which I had previously), but very happy with the look.

Damn 2500k much deeper yellow than my 3000k. You don't have overlays right?

Kamek, car looks awesome! Thanks for the upload. What kind of D1S bulbs did you get? I'm interested in upgrading and I really wanted to see how the yellow foglamps would look with my car's color and your post just did it for me! THANKS!
Question though, what's the difference between MTEC's H8 yellow foglight versus the NOKYA 2500? Which one would look better with D1S bulbs (6000k)? Any suggestions from you experts would be appreciated! THANKS!! |

Nice ride!
glad to see someone uses fogs for their actual use. ^__^ Research back in the 1950's prove that yellow light projects better through a thicker atmosphere; such as fog and/or rain - this is why OEM lights are a standard yellowish tone - dual purpose. Newer OEM models have a nice White light headlight with yellow toned fog lights. People who put HIDs or bright white lights in their fogs are just putting unnecessary light into oncoming traffic and is no more effective than regular headlights/HID headlights. |

I like! Im running the same fogs and put the yellow h8's for the angel eyes.. They look good but dim like crazy when my lights are on so I might just switch to led angels
