I voted for debadge and I think almost all BMW's look better without it...except one exception...and that is the xi.

I think if you have an xi, you do NOT debadge...

The xi cars have an additional xi-specific badge on the front-side panels so even if he debadges the trunk people can still know what model he is driving.

IMO the car looks cleaner with the trunk debadge. The only car I wouldn't debadge are the M's.

They dropped the xi from the back when they added the side x drive badges. They're not in both places.

Debadge. It's so much cleaner especially with the additional "xi" on the back

I thought only the X5 and X3 had the X badge on the side fenders?

Also, what about a third option: Flat Black badge? On AW cars it looks pretty sweet especially if you are going to darken anything else up.

Debadge... I like the layman to wonder wth i'm driving and the enthusiasts don't need to be told what i'm driving.

debadge it... at first I was just going to swap out to the gloss black emblems, but once i took the chrome ones off, it left it that way. the gloss black ones never went on and are in a drawer somewhere. haha

They put them on the sides of '09 3 & 5 series too and took the xi off the back. THOSE would be the first badges to come off my car without a doubt.
