Poorboys black hole polish
Finally got round to buying some and gave it a go this morning.
routine - rinse, foam car (AG), wash wheels (with Tesco Daisy! and brush). wash with AG shampoo, dry with my new polished bliss towel (these are amazing!!) Didnt bother with any clay etc, that is for just before i sell the car i will proper detail and get the DA polisher out, so just applied the PB black hole with a meguires applicator sponge, did one panel at a time and buffed off. this stuff is so easy to use and so easy to buff out! really leaves and excellent finish with really strong metallic pop! Superb product for the money, i should go out and wax the car now, but i cant be bothered as it will be getting a full detail soon.. Its also very very good for my shadowline trim!! total time, 2hrs! Anyway, let the whoring commence!!

Good stuff.
I gave mine a coat of black hole a couple of weeks ago and topped with two coats of dodo blue velvet. Looks awesome but needs another wash as it's rained since. |

Is black hole a black polish / wax that fills tiny chips etc ??
Once I have my windscreen done I am thinking of getting the bonet & bumper resprayed (plus a ding in the door) then I can finally admit to my self that the car is A1 Mint. |

Its a polish, it does cover minor imperfections, but mine has had fresh paint recently at the front. Needs ideally to be covered in a wax after.

I have this product as well but have yet to give it a go.
From the looks of it I will love it! Your car looks stunning!

I had a dent on the passenger wing, scratches to the bumper around there too, I had the Front bumper, bonnet and wings painted and colour matched the grills. the guys also fitted my new drivers door actuator. all for £400. but thats mates rates... Colour match looks spot on, i have not had out in some flourescents yet, but in sunlight looks bang on, good metallic match etc etc.. Edit, found the original damage that was fixed in the above: @JLR, i could post some more up if you want! When i actually do the full detail in a month or 2, i might actually do a run through of pics start to finish and do a write up. For novices like me! all i have learned is from the internetz so if i can help anyone else, happy days.

It is 100% non-abrasive. It contains paint cleansers and colour-charged fillers, that is all. A polish usually contains abrasives of some kind. Black Holes does not. It merely cleans paint (I think you need to use a DA for the cleaning effect) and fills any minor swirl marks etc. Black Hole is a glaze which contains fillers. |

heh, indeed it does!!
The distinction is the thing about abrasives though. A polish, typically contains abrasives which actually remove/reduce imperfections by abrading them away. A glaze with fillers fills in the minute swirls etc but they're still there. The biggest thing to consider is this, in the wrong hands a polish could actually damage your paintwork due to the abrasives. With something like Black Hole, because it is 100% abrasive free, this is not a possibility (unless you're using it on a pad that has abrasive properties). |
