i was willing to pay 50 quid for the one in the sale thread.

I havent got the CIC in hand yet, so not sure if theres the opportunity to remove some material, craft some brackets and wrap the original to a decent standard?

but if i dont have to bodge it, i wont.

I have one I got with my CIC kit but I am not using as I already have a CIC controller and trim.

I don't want to separate the controller and trim though.

£160 including delivery and the CIC controller.

I can get some pics when I get home if you need.

I have to say am not sure why these CIC trims are so expensive, it is literally a piece if thin plastic that must cost no more than £10 to make.

If I get time I'm going to compare the CCC with CIC trim, and see if you could 'modify' the CCC trim to take the CIC controller...I do a separate post about it if it's doable

Not sure about your comment.
If you ask your dealer, most of them are above £200 after discount.
You compare the price of used one against the price of new one and then decide whether it is worth of busying used or buy a new one.

Re: Modifying CCC trim, people have done it in the past. It is never perfect fitment. Firstly, you will have to cut and made the hole wider at the rear. And you will find that it is already wider at the front. So you end up with slightly wrong dimensions. It is doable but not perfect!

Just fitted the CIC trim today, and your 100% right, I didn't appreciate the differences in controller size was so big

As you've said its doable but will be more of a bodge job rather than a nice retrofit. The CIC controller is much nicer to use than the CCC controller though.
